Read the label and inspect the toy
Check washing and drying instructions before adding water. Look for loose seams, damaged fabric, detachable accessories, and electronic parts. A method suitable for one plush may damage another. If the label is missing or unclear, ask support with the model name and photos before cleaning.
Clean a small mark gently
If surface cleaning is permitted, follow the label’s instructions for the cloth, cleaner, and moisture level. Where appropriate, first try a small hidden area and check the result after it dries. Dab the mark gently instead of scrubbing the pile or soaking the filling. Remove cleaner residue only as directed, and keep moisture away from parts that must stay dry.
Use a washing machine only with permission
Machine wash only if the care label explicitly permits it. Follow its settings, water temperature, detergent guidance, and any instructions about a protective bag or removable parts. Do not assume that a sewn-in detail, sound unit, or filling can be removed. If any instruction conflicts with the toy’s condition or construction, pause and ask support.
Finish with complete drying
Follow the stated drying method. If air drying is allowed, gently blot excess moisture with a clean towel and give the toy space for air to circulate. The surface can feel dry while the centre remains damp. Check the whole toy before returning it to use or putting it away.
Common questions
Can I wash a plush toy without a care label?
Do not guess a washing method. Keep the toy dry while you ask support to identify the model and its care instructions from photos.
Does a dry surface mean the toy is ready?
Not necessarily. Thicker filling can retain moisture. Continue the label-approved drying process and ask support if you cannot tell whether the filling is completely dry.
Not sure which instructions apply?
This is general care guidance. The label for your exact toy takes priority. Send the model name and photos through our support form if anything is unclear.
